"Learn ASL at Home" Winter Cohort 2025 Level 1A (Ch. 1-4)
This is the first-level class for students who have not taken a Learn ASL at Home class before.
It covers the first 4 chapters of the ASL at Home curriculum.

Learn ASL at Home is a beginning American Sign Language class for family members and friends of young deaf and hard of hearing children ages 0-5 (families with older children are also welcome). We will use the ASL at Home curriculum to teach you how to communicate effectively with your child in ASL during 4 daily routines: meal time, bath time, diaper changes and bathroom routines, and book sharing.

Due to popular demand, we have opened a second section of this class!
👉🏻Both sections will take place at the same dates and times, so there is only one combined option for registration. After registering, you will receive more information by email about which section you have been assigned to.

⭐️ Thursday evenings from 5-6:15pm PST / 8-9:15pm EST
⭐️ Independent prep work starts January 9th, 2025
⭐️ Zoom classes take place from January 16th to March 13th, 2025
(no class February 20 for President’s Day week)

👉🏻 Cami’s class: The language of instruction will be English. Zoom auto-captions will be available for anyone’s use.
👉🏻 Leah’s class: Interpretation between ASL and English is provided. Zoom auto-captions will also be available for anyone’s use.
